Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel in Easley, SC

This late late 19th century farmhouse has beautiful details throughout. But the dated circa 1980's kitchen didn't do justice to this antique gem. The goal was to make a functional kitchen that would compliment and enhance the style of the home. The original beadboard ceiling was preserved even though I had to open it up in places in order to run wiring and install new lighting. Fortunately the homeowner had extra matching boards saved and I was able to patch the ceiling back in. Once painted you couldn't tell where the modifications were made. The designer and supplier of cabinetry was Forest Kitchen Design Studio (https://www.forestkitchendesign.com/) in Greenville, SC. The homeowner selected Plain & Fancy brand cabinetry. Plain & Fancy has a great line of high end semi-custom cabinetry and their finish is outstanding. This was one of the more interesting projects, I've had the pleasure to do.
